Our original carbon fiber ring was the very first ring we created back in late 2003. This ring is a little less than 3/8" wide or slightly wider than 9mm across its face. While the ring is one of our most basic designs it is also our biggest seller. The simplicity of this design really shows off that beautiful 2x2 twill carbon pattern we all love. Our new polished finish offers a semi gloss ring with a very durable surface. For the first time no coatings are used in any of our rings. Each ring is individually wet sanded through 10 stages of sanding with a final application of buffing compound. We offer rings in standard sizes 4.5-13.5 in whole and half sizes. Making a video of a ring is a bit strange but we had to make that video because it is so hard to capture the characteristics of this ring in a still image. This is technical beauty at it's finest. Uni-carbon is often used to construct aerospace structures where every gram counts. Unlike woven carbon you can design strength and stiffness much more precisely with uni carbon. There are 14 layers of uni carbon in this ring. As a matter of fact we lay the fibers up in such a way as to optimize the ring to resist crushing loads. File that last sentence under the heading "do not try this at home". Our rings are not intended to save your finger from being crushed but we know a certain customer that had his finger saved by one of our rings when a steel plate came down on his finger on the job. ORIGINAL RING / UNI ENDURANCE $120
This ring features the Original dimensions but is now available with a new uni-directional carbon fiber and endurance (matte) finish. Instead of using woven carbon fibers you will notice the carbon fibers on the exterior layer run across the width. We use a proprietary sanding technique to make this ring shimmer in the sun. Yet another version of our Original style ring. This uni-directional carbon band has been worked through our proprietary wet sanding process through progressively more fine sand paper grits and finally buffed to a high polish. This ring is unlike anything on the market today! It almost looks like some type of strange metal but it is 100% carbon fiber with a weight of just over a single gram! This Original 2x2 twill carbon fabric ring with endurance (matte) finish has been a top seller for quite some time. It is our most durable ring! If you are very active or tent to abuse jewelry this is the best option for you.
